Foundation expands to Scotland | Mortgage strategy

Foundation Home Loans now offers its products in Scotland.

Borrowers will be able to access all of the lender’s purchase and remortgage offers for residential and rental properties (BTL).

Other changes today include the addition of The Lending Channel to The Foundation’s Distribution Panel and the appointment of Fiona Robertson as the new Regional Account Manager.

She will cover the North East of England and Scotland.

The Foundation’s Commercial Director, George Gee, said: “We are very pleased to announce our launch in Scotland today, to kick off the new year by expanding our geographic reach and to welcome mortgage intermediaries active in Scotland.

“This is an exciting time for Foundation and we look forward to building new relationships in Scotland, engaging with all stakeholders and bringing greater product and criteria options to borrowers.”

And Managing Director of The Lending chain, Alistair Ewing, adds: “We are delighted to have been invited to join Foundation’s panel of packers in Scotland, providing access to their fantastic products and helping them to lead their Scottish growth plans.

“As an experienced packager with a number of other specialty lenders on our panel, this is a great addition for brokers for BTL and residential products, so I encourage brokers to sign up now to get immediate access to Foundation mortgages after today’s launch.
