Just Mortgages enters the equity release space

Just Mortgages has entered the equity release advice market.

The broker has trained 13 qualified and licensed independent advisers to offer advice on stock release products.

The new proposal follows a successful trial, and Just Mortgages will offer an intensive academy for independent brokers who wish to advise on equity release.

The training was also attended by regional managers from Just Mortgages, who will be on hand to advise independent brokers considering taking the course, which lasts six to eight weeks.

Ashley Edwards, Regional Director of Just Mortgages, says: “Equity liberation is a growing market and by qualifying to advise, Just Mortgages brokers can offer holistic loans for seniors. Some brokers specialize in equity release only, however, Just Mortgages brokers can advise you on all areas of borrowing later in life.

“Equity release is not always the right option, by qualifying, brokers have the opportunity to advise in this area when it is the right decision. Whether passing a deposit to members younger in the family or traveling the world in retirement, the equity release can be a great option for accessing funds.

Just Mortgages runs stock release academies throughout the year and aims to have 25 brokers qualified and licensed by the end of 2022.
