Mayflower launches new specialist mortgage conditioner for brokers

Mayflower Mortgage and Finance has launched a new specialist mortgage conditioner for brokers.

Mayflower for Brokers will help place self-build and development cases for brokers. In addition, brokers will receive a minimum of 0.4% (up to 1%) as gross proxy fees.

The new service can help brokers and their clients understand project budgets, perform project feasibility assessments and propose construction costs using its costing service.

It will also provide brokers with cash flow forecasts for their clients’ construction projects and help find a suitable lender for the client’s project.

Brokers will have access to all cases through the Mayflower portal.

Mayflower for Brokers works with a number of lenders including Market Harborough, Harpenden Building Society, The Dudley Building Society, Saffron Building Society, MT Finance among others.

Mike Pawley, Director of Mayflower Mortgage and Finance, said, “We understand that one of the most stressful things about being a mortgage broker is ensuring your client’s expectations are met, on time or sooner. »

“Using a specialty distributor or packer can feel like you’re losing control of your customer’s journey, which in turn can cause brokers to worry about meeting those expectations.”

“That’s why we give brokers a one-to-one point of contact throughout the process with a construction finance expert who will respond to calls and emails immediately,” adds Pawley.
